This company specializes in the development, manufacturing, sale and distribution of AG and Industrial tires.  They are rapidly growing and looking for an "OEM" Sales Manager". 

The OEM "AG & Industrial Tire" Sales Manager will have the responsibility of managing and securing new original equipment accounts.

The OEM Sales Manager is expected to be fully knowledgeable about the Company’s products and be able to make presentations to prospective and current OEM customers regarding the features and benefits of their product line.

Job Duties:

  • Managing OEM Relationships: The OEM Manager is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers. This involves negotiating contracts, ensuring compliance with agreements, and serving as the main point of contact for all OEM-related matters
  • Sales and Business Development: The OEM Manager is often responsible for driving sales growth through OEM partnerships. This includes identifying new business opportunities, collaborating with the sales team, and implementing strategies to expand the company's OEM customer base.
  • OEM Program Management: The OEM Manager oversees the entire OEM program, ensuring that products meet OEM specifications and requirements. They coordinate with various departments, such as engineering, manufacturing, and quality control, to ensure timely delivery and adherence to OEM standards.
  • Forecasting and Planning: The OEM Manager analyzes market trends, demand patterns, and customer feedback to develop accurate sales forecasts and production plans. They work closely with the operations and supply chain teams to ensure proper inventory levels and timely fulfillment of OEM orders.
  • Contract Negotiation and Compliance: The OEM Manager negotiates and drafts contracts with OEM partners, including pricing, terms, and conditions. They ensure compliance with contractual obligations, monitor performance metrics, and resolve any disputes that may arise.
  • Product Development and Customization: The OEM Manager collaborates with OEM partners and internal teams to develop new products or customize existing ones to meet OEM requirements. They coordinate product launches, conduct market research, and gather customer feedback to drive product improvements.
  • Market and Competitive Analysis: The OEM Manager stays updated on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies relevant to the company's OEM business. They conduct market research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth and keep the company ahead of competitors.

 

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • Experience: A strong background in sales, business development, or account management is typically required. Experience specifically in OEM sales or management is highly desirable.
  • Industry Knowledge: A deep understanding of the industry in which the company operates and familiarity with OEM practices, standards, and processes is essential.
  • Relationship Building Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to establish and maintain strong relationships with OEM partners.
  • Analytical Skills: The ability to analyze market data, forecast sales, and make strategic decisions based on data-driven insights is crucial.
  • Project Management: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are important for overseeing OEM programs and ensuring timely execution.
  • Negotiation Skills: The OEM Manager should possess strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms and contracts with OEM partners.
  • Leadership Abilities: The ability to lead cross-functional teams, collaborate effectively, and influence stakeholders is essential for success in this role.
