Position Regional Sales Managers - Truck Tires
Location Ohio, Indiana and Michigan (new territory)
Northern Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri and Arkansas (new territory)

Company is looking for motivated and results-driven Sales Managers for the assigned region and will focus on growing sales of their Truck Tire Brand in the commercial (TBR) segment.
This will include using your experience to identify and open new accounts, maintain strong relationships with the accounts and providing ongoing account management and technical support by serving as a partner to your customers. Your goal is to find long term value for the business by building a quality customer-base.

Job Duties:

Position Summary:  Responsible for all dealer and fleet: sales, support, education, training, and marketing of TBR brands in their assigned territory.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.

  • Primary local field contact for all TBR related issues
  • Executes on approved sales and marketing programs to meet established sales goals
  • Responsible to achieve sales goals and performance metrics as assigned
  • Build and strengthen new and existing business relationships on a locally focused level with commercial dealers and distributors
  • Prospect new wholesale distributors, servicing commercial dealers, and fleets as instructed
  • Specific duties include, but are not limited to: administration of: pricing, category tire orders, POP, advertising, warranty adjustments, credits, trade show and open house requests, special discount requests, product testing, signage, and all relevant paperwork to perform such tasks as required per policy and procedure
  • Required to plan and execute allocation of work time in the field with dealers, dealer sale personnel, and end user accounts
  • Plan, schedule, and participate in special events, expositions, product training, trade shows and open house as agreed to with management
  • Post work schedule and visit/contact reports on a weekly basis
  • Enter performance data on central database for marketing analysis
 

Required Experience:

  • 2 or 4-year College Degree (BS/BA) or 5 years equivalent experience in the truck tire industry
  • Experience in Aftermarket sales, presentation skills, client relationships, contract negotiation, prospecting skills, sales planning, meeting sales goals, sales planning, independent work ethic, and motivation for sales
  • Proven track record in sales in the tire industry.
  • Existing network of prospective tire dealers.
  • Strong technical expertise in commercial tires.
  • Highly self-motivated and self-disciplined and willing to work independently while
    collaborating with the larger team.
  • Able to build and manage an opportunity pipeline to support annual revenue targets.
  • Experience developing sales techniques.
  • Passionate about the tire industry
  • Complete understanding of truck tires and applications required.
  • Computer literate
